Version 0.2


In version 0.2 we focused on making the game more playable and to correct some jam mistakes. We will continue to update the game, with the next update planed next month - this time actually contianing some bigger new features like weakpoints on airships.

We hope you have fun with the changed version.

Changes:

Movement:

  • adjusted jump hight and movementspeed
  • added slight aircontroll while jumping
  • the player now uses only his head to look up and down
  • fixed the jump controll
  • fixed walk on ceiling Bug

Shooting:

  • adjusted weapon aim position
  • added firemodes
  • added manual reload

Turrets:

  • added gravatiy to turret shells
  • properly hit moving targets (without spread)
  • shoot only if path is not obstructed
  • Changed turret values to be worse, because they were to strong

Turret Balancing:

Small machine gun:

  • (Autofire) Range 400 => 250 (-)
  • Turnspeed 15 => 5 (-)
  • Muzzle velocity 100 => 150 (+)
  • Autofire spread 100 => 750 (-)

Small high calibre:

  • Fire rate per sec 1 => 0,8 (-)
  • Muzzle velocity 120 => 175 (+)
  • (Autofire) Range 600 => 350 (-)
  • Turnspeed 15 => 5 (-)
  • Autofire spread 75 => 400 (-)

Large gatling:

  • Fire rate per sec 10 => 12 (+)
  • Damage per sec 120 => 144 (+)
  • Muzzle velocity 120 => 175 (+)
  • Cost 300 => 400 (-)
  • Turnspeed 5 => 4 (-)
  • Autofire spread 200 => 1000 (-)

Large high calibre:

  • increased the size of waves (10 +)

Runner:

Dreadnought:

  • Speed 2 => 5
  • Health 2500 => 5000

UI:

  • reduced scaling errors
  • fixed building menu
  • added firemode display
  • added quit and restart buttons to the Game Over screen

Other:

  • changed lightning
  • added post processing
  • fixed some overlapping objects
  • fixed falling through base bug
  • adjusted base green
  • made the game actually over on Game Over
  • post jam code refactor
